SCARECROW FESTIVAL & ANTIQUE FAIR!
Join us for the 22nd Annual Scarecrow Festival & Antique Fair where a fun-filled, family weekend awaits your arrival…Each year the town comes to life with over 250 hand-made, life-size scarecrows. From the traditional to a scarecrow version of the Royal Family, you will delight in these unique and extraordinary creations.
The festival kicks off on Friday morning when all of the Scarecrows are officially on display.
The festival draws thousands of visitors each year. Highlights include special children’s activities, crafts and entertainment, book sales, BBQ’s, yard sales, quilt sales, Multicultural events and our NEW Indoor Pumpkin Path at Bayview School and of course the largest antique show in the Maritimes featuring the most respected dealers.
It is truly one of the most unique festivals in the province!

Scarecrows
For twenty two years, volunteers in the town of Mahone Bay have spent their summers building life-sized scarecrows and dressing them creatively in themed groups that have attracted visitors to the town for as many years.

THE CIRCUS IS COMING TO TOWN!
Prepare to be amazed as SCOUT CAMP is performing circus acts on Saturday and Mr. J Magic Show on Sunday afternoon. |
Antique Fair
One of the most popular aspects of this annual weekend-long event is, of course, the Antique Fair. In 2016, more than 1800 enthusiastic visitors passed through the Fair’s 3 venues.
